Interested it contributing something? We’ve got a certain taste, and this thing is curated with a specific point of view. But we’re interested in a lot of stuff. You can submit a photo, create a series of ornate pencil illustrations, record a song, throw a frozen turkey off a building—wait, no don’t do that—basically, anything that can be included in our online magazine format.
Each quarterly issue will be organized around a broad theme. Beyond the phrase used to communicate the theme, no conceptual restrictions will apply. The contributor is free to interpret and express the theme however they choose. The medium is similarly open. There are specific format requirements for the submission, but outside of those anything is permissible.
For example, the theme for the first issue is “Man and Machine.” It is intentional that this is broad, as is the fact that it’s a well-worn phrase. Artists can interpret it however they see fit. The piece can revel in the glory of automated society, or rebel against the tyranny of the computer age.
Note: Artists will retain all rights to their work, and all work remains copyrighted in the artist’s name.
